ANSWER: Your mere “question” is the answer. Nabi Sallallahu alayhi Wasallam said, “Seek a Fatwa from the heart.” And your heart is ‘troubled’, hence you asking. And this ‘troubled heart’ is the result of the Fatwa coming from deep inside your heart.
There are many reasons surrounding this newly graduated so-called “Mufti”, however, the topic of photos has ‘troubled’ the heart.
Thus, it should be well understood that it is not permissible to attend “Mufti” S Moola’s program.
Not only does he appear on photos, he misused the entire gathering dubbed as “Seerah Jalsah”, in which the SUBLIME SEERAH was to be discussed, and under the banner of the very name “Seerah”, he blabbered a load of hogwash in a desperate attempt to justify photography.
His trip, or trips for seemingly “humanitarian work” is or are captured on photos and videos. After all, what humanitarian work was done if a type of a ‘documentary’ – capturing the moments, history and events with animate photos and videos – was made out of such trips? Previously, some of these trips of his, captured him hugging or bringing closely to him, orphan girls who appeared to be Baalighah already! Where had he dumped the Laws of Hijaab? Or is an orphan Baalighah girl an exception to the Laws of Hijaab?
On the other hand, Ulama-e-Haq have also traveled to Syria and other countries for humanitarian work. Not in the 1800’s, rather now, in 2025, the modern century! The era of videos, 5G, unlimited internet, You-Tube, TV, etc. Yet, their trips don’t have such movies! Yes they report back and conduct Bayaans on the lessons learnt and things seen. They also clearly condemned Shi’sm and call them Kaafir, exactly what they are!
Will these modern celebrity type scholars ever call the recent Syrian regime as Kaafir Shi’as, and further warn South African Muslims of the KUFR of Shi’asm here in South Africa and how Shi’as operate here? Nay, these scholars speak of unity with all, including the Shi’as.
Will “Mufti” S Moola clearly brand Shi’as as Kuffaar, or like his JUSA buddies, he will become technical and best around the bush?
