Must I Attend The Seerah Jalsah?

QUESTION: Below is a picture of the 2025 Seerah Jalsah. The date of the Seerah Jalsah is 31 January 2025. I therefore request a response before that, if possible.
I have a few questions:

1. Please see the names of the guests of honour. There are 6 names there.

A- What is the view of your Darul Ifta regarding all 6, if you know them? Can we listen to the lectures of any of them? Are they part of the Ulama-e-Haqq or the Ulama-e-Soo?

As a layman, I require this important advice. It is obvious that I need to follow good Ulama, otherwise I will land myself in Jahannam.

B – Please explain the reasons for your view. If you say they are bad, then why. If you say that they are good, then why?

Please let me know in detail.

2. What is your view on Seerah Jalsahs? Please advise. I find Deobandi Ulama declaring Moulood Bid’ah? Does Seerah Jalsahs have the same ruling as Moulood?

3. Should I attend this 2025 Seerah Jalsah or not?

Please see picture below.

Shukran

ANSWER: Below are the answers to the question:

1. The 6 names for the Seerah Jalsah are those scholars who, especially the local scholars, have a history of demolishing the 1400-year-old Deen. Their objective is to present a watered down version of Islam. Hence, they use such Jalsahs to achieve this devilish agenda of theirs. May Allah Ta’ala protect us and grant them Hidaayat to realize the danger they are involved in, Aameen.
One should NOT listen to any of their talks as we regard them NOT to be of the Ulama-e-Haq.
Alhamdulillah, South Africa has MANY senior Ulama-e-Haq from whom one can take benefit. Attend their Majaalis. If one is far, then listen to their Bayaan recordings on a regular basis.
The reason for the above regarding the 6 names of the Seerah Jalsah speakers is simple. The local scholars from those names are easy to know why we don’t agree with them.
Their open Haraam activities such as; going on TV, invovled in interfaith, receiving funds from Mr Motsepe, marching on roads for political reasons and for Palestine alongside strage-street ladies, chanting VIVA ANC! VIVA EFF!, donning anti-Sunnah attire on a safari tour, posing for pictures; posing for photos along jet-skis and predators, admiring female pilots and taking pictures with them in the air, admiring Mandela’s statue and taking inspiration from such, enforcing the closure of the Masaajid in 2020, supporting the friends of the court in keeping the Masaajid SHUT, allowing females to prostitute their voices on radio stations, seating themselves with a strange lady in iTV studio, sitting at tables and chairs, entertaining Mr Tariq Jameel the Shi’a sympathizer, and the list goes on and on. All these are the few reasons regarding the local scholars of Soo at the Seerah Jalsah.
With regards to the other names of speakers who are from overseas, a brief google search discovered them to be invovled in pictures. Hence, this in itself already paints their understanding of Deen – their Deen means pictures and videos. Pictures and videos are Haraam and a major sin. What Deen can be learnt from such scholars who are invovled in pictures and videos?
2. Seerat can be discussed at any time of the year. There should be no specific time of the year to discuss the Seerat Mubaarak. Our Ulama don’t have a special Seerah Jalsah. We firmly believe there shouldn’t be a Jalsah for this reason. Yes, the Seerah can be discussed in series over a period of time, as some of our Ulama-e-Haq do.
The JUSA-type of Seerah Jalsahs are not only Bid’ah, but also Haraam. Hence, their Jalsahs invovle double sins! Abstention is absolutely necessary from their Haraam Jalsahs themed Seerah which goes against the Seerah!
Their Seerah Jalsah is livestreamed on You-Tube etc. Imagine, a Seerah Jalsah going against the Hadith Shareef warning of the severesit Azaab to meted out to those invovled in photography. What contradiction!? Is this Seerat? Our Ulama say, ‘Seerat should become one’s Soorat’, meaning, one should practice on the Seerat. Seerat shouldn’t only be left for a Jalsah. It should become our life we are living. And the first step to that is to make Amal on the Ahaadith. For instance, the Hadith forbids picture-making. How then can a Seerah Jalsah have videoing and pictures? Their arguments of ‘digital’ etc are absolutely nonsense. The fatwa of the major Darul-Ulooms of SA brand TV, videos and pictures as Haraam.
3. No, you should NOT attend this year’s Seerah Jalsah nor future Seerah Jalsahs of JUSA/UUCSA, etc. at any of their venues.
As stated, rather listen to the talks of Seerat of one of the Ulama-e-Haq who may have them available on recording in few parts. Indeed, one will find much more isnight from learning Seerat from the Ulama-e-Haq.
May Allah Ta’ala guide us and keep us on Haq, Aameen.
