Another Response To Tariq Jamil’s Statement

We continue with the response to the dangerous statements Tariq Jamil made in his SA tour:
“…End it now, don’t transfer it to the next generation (don’t let them even get wind of it) live as Muslims, live as one Ummah.
Wear your label “Sunni” on the inside (as a vest/t.shirt). Make your outer garment (kurta) a label of one Ummah. Shia label inside outside one ummah.
Let Deobandis remain as deobandis Let Barelwis remain as barelwis Let Wahabis remain as wahabis Let Sunnis remain as Sunnis Let Shias remain as Shias…”

Our response to the above: By now, Muslims are supposed to already know and be aware of the dangers of Tariq Jamil. He is an unreliable orator. Over a dozen senior Muftis and Moulanas of Pakistan have branded him as unreliable. Over 20 South African senior Ulama have disagreed with these type of statements he made when he was on tour in SA.

Can so many Ulama, senior Ulama, Ulama who run major Darul-Ulooms in Pakistan and South Africa and who are involved daily in Deeni activities be lying? Can these Ulama be causing Fitnah? But those with dull lights, who opt to remain blind to the message of these Ulama will see nothing wrong in Tariq Jamil and his unreliable lectures.

In the above statement of Tariq Jamil, he openly gives a license to all and sundry to adopt any deviated sect they wish. Instead of mentioning the incorrect and un-Islamic beliefs the deviated sects have, he makes himself sound like there is no fault in any of the mentioned deviated sects.

This is indeed a terrible and lamentable statement of Tariq Jamil. The hard work, sweat and sacrifices of the Ulama of SA in protecting and educating the members of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah in SA from the mentioned deviated sects, Tariq Jamil simply undoes all their works. How dare he comes to our land and unknots the hard work of our Ulama?
