ANSWER: ALL literature of deviates, shady people, cartoon characters, Salafi-minded people, Shi’as, Qadiyanis, Gulen people, Barelwis, modern scholars and any member of any of the deviate sects has a direct negative impact and effect on the reader.
That is exactly why the authors’ brief lives are discussed of the Kitaabs studied in the start of the academic year at the Darul-Ulooms. It is to show the students who have the honourable author’s Kitaab on their desks, the authenticity, dedication, piety, and any other anecdotes of sacrifice, sincerity, etc. of the author. The Kitaab will then be respected and revered by the students of Deen even more, keeping in mind some of the accolades they studied of the honourable author. The effects of the author’s Taqwa, Qurbani, Ikhlaas, Ilm, Adab, and other virtues will have a direct positive effect on the Taalib-e-Ilm.
On the contrary, literature and any other lesson – be it a talk/lecture, article, newspaper, etc. – of a deviate author or one who engages in open Haraam, will have a negative effect on the readers. Thus, instead of having an inclination to adopt Taqwa, the readers may have inclinations towards sin, vice, Haraam, Baatil, etc.
The person in question (Mr Menk) has openly and repeatedly shown the world his true colours. And his true colours don’t match with the Colours of the Men of Allah, whose literature will have a positive effect on the Ummah. The true colours of Mr Menk are that of photography, TV, You-Tube, endorsing atheist-made protocols, watering down Islaam, tampering with the Sunnah, conversing openly with non-Mahaarim ladies and pilots in planes, and that of even mocking our Rasool (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)!
Thus, it is devastating and inviting harm to one’s Deen to read, listen and/or follow Mr Menk. Even his ‘Seerah Jalsahs’ where he flocks to with his type like-minded characters in Lenasia and Durban, has a negative effect on the listeners’ minds. So, beware and abstain in totality from Menk, E. Bham, S. Moolla, S. Ravat, Z. Raghie, the MJC church-going Shayks, the Haraam chicken electrocuting SANHA, all the JUSA offices in various towns, and anyone or any organisation that endorses these members of the deviate sect or who themselves water down the Shari’ah.
