Pastors And Their Churches (1)

Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:

الْكَلِمَةُ الْحِكْمَةُ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ فَحَيْثُ وَجَدَهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا

Translation: The word of wisdom is the lost property of the believer. Wherever he finds it, he is most deserving of it.” (Tirmizi Shareef)

A news headline reads: A group of nearly 100 religious leaders say they plan to defy the Level 4 restrictions prohibiting religious gatherings. The religious leaders from the Western Cape held a press conference on their plans for this Sunday.”

It is quite embarrassing for Muslims to note the above move of the religious leaders. Their press conference shows their unity, firmness, resoluteness and determination in what they deem to be right (‘Haq’)! Whilst these religious leaders stand firm AGAINST their churches closing as per level four of the oppressive lockdown, on the other hand, Shaykhs from the same province where these religious leaders gathered fully support the oppressive call of the government and asked that the Muslims close the Masaajid! May these scholars hang their heads in shame! How can they support Zulm (lockdown)?

Muslims who have been given Islaam as their Deen, the Qur’an Majeed as their Book and Nabi Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) as their role model, guide and final Nabi, yet Muslims find their own people have proven to be the worst enemies of the Masaajid, the Teachings and Laws of Deen, the Haq and of the Ulama-e-Haq!

We really wonder as to whether other Christians who claim to be following Christianity, or the religion of these religious leaders who took the bold step and stated the facts as per their understanding in the open public, took any objections.

When some Muslims try to go to the Purest of Places (Masaajid) for Salaah to practically show their love for Allah Ta’ala despite Shaitaani, oppressive and inhumane restrictions by the atheist government who are the enemies of Allah Ta’ala, the pimps, Machinglaans (means security, watch-boy, guard  in Zulu) and the self-made authorities (the self-made police) from within the Muslims, spy them to the police! At times, these Machinglans capture photos and send them on Twitter or other social media showing how much love for Allah Ta’ala some Muslims have – though their intention for this is not intended at all! Yet, these same spies fail to realize how much of the laws of the government they disobey and defy themselves!

Tweets go around showing pictures of certain places where gatherings are undertaken. Tweets go around giving numbers of authorities who should be contacted if others see Masaajid or Musallis pleasing Allah Ta’ala. Tweets also go around saying Eid gatherings causes the Shaitaani spike in the virus! These Tweets are very dangerous to one’s Aakhirah, as they may stand as witness to one’s hatred for Allah’s Houses and His Visitors (Musallis) which could land one in big trouble on the Day when even Ambiyaa (Alaihimus salaam) will be worried of themselves! On that Day, the government will definitely be of no avail!

Furthermore, when Muslims went to court and tried getting Masaajid open the legal way, the Shaitaani reaction from even so-called scholars was sad. They showed their true colours and marched into the court as the accursed friends of the court to fight to keep Allah’s Houses SHUT on the faces of the Muslims despite Muslims seeing ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.

We wonder if these same Tweeters, so-called scholars and the life-savers will object to these pastors’ stance? We wonder if fellow pastors of their own religion will run to medical experts (IMASA in Muslims’ context from where so-called ‘scholars’ gain their ammunition of Baatil to shoot the Haq and Ulama-e-Haq with) and circulate among them why churches can’t reopen. The pastors clearly said the following statements which as per the Hadith quoted in the beginning are Islaam’s lost property:

  • We advocate for churches to remain open
  • The church is a spiritual hospital
  • They (the church congregants) need the fellowships, they need to gather with other saints…
  • The church is a gathering of the saints…that is the fundamental element of what is called a church

Substitute the word churches to Masaajid and one will have a clearer picture of the lost property of Islaam coming out from the mouths of pastors!

We wonder if social activists among Christians Tweeted any objections against their leaders. They have clearly stated that they advocate for churches to remain open. Will any bought-out Christian pastor say that churches are super-spreaders of the virus? Will any Christian radio station arrange panel discussions of pastors who are hell-bent on closure of churches, to explain why churches should not open?

Will any Christian organisation gather over 100 signatures – whether real or concocted – showing others that they have so many experts, pastors, etc. supporting the view of the government that churches should remain closed? Will other pastors claim they represent the ‘United Pastors Council of SA’ (UPCSA – uucsa in our context) and have 1500 pastors with them who support the government’s closure of churches? Will Christian women – who like certain Muslim women who have no other constructive work to do perhaps because being too highly educated in secular fields disgracing themselves by removing them from the natural profession of every lady of being a ‘housewife’ – report these pastors for openly defying lockdown regulations which is nothing but Zulm (oppression).

Pastors have stood up for their religion – why can’t you?
