Suhoor, A Blessed Meal

Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “You must partake of Suhoor, for it is a blessed meal.” (Nasaai’)

Together with our physical food at the time of Suhoor, let us not forget the following spiritual foods:

  1. Tahajjud Salaah
  2. Du’a
  3. Zikrullah
  4. Istighfaar (Special mention is made in the Qur’an Majeed of Istighfaar at the time of Suhoor)
  5. Tilaawat

The above 5 spiritual foods added with one’s 2 physical items at the time of Suhoor (food and water) will result in our Suhoor becoming a “7-course Meal”! Subhaanallah!
