Those that have accepted the sighting of the Thul-Hijjah 1441 Hilaal in the Northern Cape, will accordingly celebrate Eid-ul-Adhaa on Friday, 31 July 2020. Thus, the following is applicable to them:

  1. Day of Arafat – 30 July 2020, Thursday. Fasting on this day is highly recommended.
  2. Starting Takbeer-e-Tashreeq – To start from Fajr on Thursday – day of Arafat – 30 July 2020. Men should read it aloud while ladies softly. This should be read once only after the Fardh Salaahs.
  3. Days of Eid – Friday, 31 July 2020 to Sunday 2 August 2020.
  4. Ending Takbeer-e-Tashreeq – Takbeer-e-Tashreeq should end after Asr Salaah on Monday, 3 August 2020.
