A Poem By Khwajah Azeezul-Hasan Majzoob (Rahmatullahi Alaih)

ہر تمنّا دل سے رخصت ہو گئ

اب تو آجا اب تو خلوت ہوگئ

Every wish of my heart has left me

Come now, we are in privacy

ايک تم سے کيا محبّت ہوگئ

ساري دنيا سے عداوت ہوگئ

Love for you has become embedded in me

I have become disgusted at the whole world around me

ياس ہي اس دل کي فطرت ہوگئ

آرزو جو کي وہ حسرت ہوگئ

Second nature to my heart has become misery

Yearning has turned to regret in me

جو ميري ہوني تھي حالت ہوگئ

خير اک دنيا کو عبرت ہوگئ

Come to pass has that which was meant to be

There is lesson in it for the world, maybe

ہر تمنّا دل سے رخصت ہو گئ

اب تو آجا اب تو خلوت ہوگئ

Every wish of my heart has left me

Come now, we are in privacy

دل ميں وہ داغوں کي کثرت ہوگئ

رونما ايک شان وحدت ہوگئ

Blemishes have enveloped the heart in me

On display is the mark of privacy

آگۓ پہلوں ميں راحت ہوگئ

چل دۓ اٹھ  کر قيامت ہوگئ

Now by my side, I am in luxury

Getting up and going is doomsday for me

ہر تمنّا دل سے رخصت ہو گئ

اب تو آجا اب تو خلوت ہوگئ

Every wish of my heart has left me

Come now, we are in privacy 

عشق ميں ذلت بھي عزت ہوگئ

لي فقيري بادشاہت ہوگئ

In love disgrace too is dignity

I took indigence and got monarchy

سوگ ميں يہ کس کي شرکت ہوگئ

بزم ماتم بزم عشرت ہوگئ

Who shares this bereavement with me?

Oh the gathering of mourning has turned to ecstasy
