Hadhrat Fudhail Bin Iyaadh (Rahmatullah alaih) said:
“How can it ever be possible for a Haafiz to be disobedient to Allah Ta’ala when every word in the Qur’aan loudly proclaims: You have made Hifz of me. For the sake of Allah Ta’ala do not be disobedient to Him.”
Our comment: It is not expected to see a Haafiz and Ulama involved in open sins throughout the year, not only in Ramadhaan. For Huffaaz and Ulama to plan sins and go to dens of sins is utterly lamentable. Such individuals cannot be proper and real Huffaaz and Ulama – The Guards Of The Deen!
Huffaaz and Ulama are supposed to be walking and living examples of the Qur’an, Taqwa, Salaah and all the good qualities and themes which glow in the pages of the Qur’an Majeed and the Hadeeth Shareef.
Huffaaz and Ulama should not indulge in sins, such as listening to music, intermingling with women and female cousins, watching YouTube videos, supporting Kuffaar world cups and Kuffaar teams and players, watching TV, posing for pictures, eating Haraam stunned meats which are sold at Muslim butchers and laballed as ‘Halaal’, listening to radio stations dubbed as ‘Islamic’ on which women come on, and vaping etc. Such acts expel them from the honourable title/s they have before their names and also disqualifies them from performing Taraaweeh because they no more remain real Guards Of The Deen!
