A Message Circulated on Socail Media Titled “Tariq Jameel-Peace Accord”
Some supporter/s of the orator, Tariq Jamil, who currently is on a tour in our country, and has delivered a speech in Gallagher Convention Centre on Sunday, in which ‘Moulana Tariq Jameel Church’ was written on a board outside or near the venue, have circulated some points of the speeches of Tariq Jamil on social media.
Why won’t it be called a Church, bearing in mind that the audience were sitting on chairs and listening to an orator—Tariq Jamil—quoting the words of Hadith—in church style?
When we read the lives of the great, giant, powerful and righteous Sahaabah Radhiallahu anhum and Ulama, we’ll find some of them never ever took the name of Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wasallam without Wuzu, while others never ever narrated a Hadith while laying down, even during old age and sickness. This is true love. The fire of love for Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. That’s why their simple, short and humble words (or Bayaan) had a profound effect and would send an ‘electric current’ to the audience, while they were in their simple and humble huts made of unbaked bricks or mud. They did not need to go to a Kaafir venue in which perhaps before or in the future, the same venue will be used for Kufr, Fisq and Fujoor—liquor, wine, swine and womanizing!
Nevertheless, this message circulated on social media intends to defend Tariq Jamil. It speaks about some messages Tariq Jamil made in his speeches. Let us respond very briefly to the calls of Tariq Jamil, as noted in the message one of his supporters sent around:
The message reads: “Despite the onslaught from the Mischievous Scholars…”
Our brief response: When the police are on a hunt for a certain person who leave alone a million and one crimes, is known for the crime of theft only, will you call the police as ‘Mischievous’? Will you regard their hunt for the criminal who is known just for one crime as an ‘Onslaught’? Even if the answer is ‘Yes’, we’ll ask, “But aren’t the police doing this for the safety of the community?”
So, didn’t the Ulama, and mind you, the Ulama of the Haq, expose the Crimes of Deen of Tariq Jamil for the safety of the Ummah? Other Ulama, unfortunately, have sent a message on social media encouraging the Ummah to go and attend the speeches of Tariq Jamil. How sad?
In the answer we have just mentioned a logical scenario. Like that, many other examples can be given.
The message reads: “He urged that we as Muslims should build a relationship of brotherhood…”
Our brief response: Very true, the Qur’an Majeed demands this! Allah Ta’ala says, “Verily, the Mu’mineen are brothers.” But wait, O Ummati! Don’t be misled by such subtle statements in order to hoodwink us. There should be questions in our minds. Since Mufti Zarwali Saheb of Pakistan commented on Tariq Jamil who said that those who curse the Sahaabah should not be called Kaafir, is this going to lead to that, eventually?
Don’t let them plant the seed of having a blanket-brotherhood-rule! Brotherhood can only apply to Mu’mineen. Brotherhood does not apply to people with incorrect ways such as swearing and abusing the Sahaabah Radhiallahu anhum.
Yes, we will build a strong relationship among the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah only. And together, we the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah will stand up and defend the Sahaabah from the abuses of those who hate them. Together we will stand in defence of the true Deen from people who deliver speeches in Kuffaar venues and what the Kuffaar call ‘Churches’. Allahu-Akbar!
The message reads: “Let the futile criticism continue. The work of PEACE and Dawah will continue. We must educate the Ummah that the enemy is from within our circles.”
Our brief response: Exactly as the message states, we will do. The Ulama of the Haq who love the Sahaabah, Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Aisha and Hazrat Uthmaan Radhiallahu anhum will keep on exposing, naming, shaming and criticizing the haters of the above Sahaabah Radhiallahu anhum. They will continue, as the erroneous message states. They will not rest as long as the Sahaabah Radhiallahu anhum are targeted for abuse. They will continue.
So true the message reads, that the work of PEACE and Dawah will continue. Yes, the message of the True Deen is PEACE. The Ulama of Haq will continue passing it over. They will keep the Message of PEACE spread by their efforts! The work of true Dawah will also continue. The meaning of Dawah is NOT limited to Tableegh Jamaat and going out. A message by the Ulama of Haq to the Ummah stating the Haq is also Dawah. Dawah means passing the proper and true message to the people. This will also
continue. Let it be well understood by those who have fallen for this message, the work of spreading the Haq will continue. And this work will be done by the Ulama of Haq.
We conclude by informing the Ummah, the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah of SA, many messages are and will go around on social media defending orators Pakistan and other countries who have set foot on our soil with Sh’iee, Salafi and modern and liberal Islamic seeds to plant. Be wary of such messages. Ignore them. Delete them.
Lastly, we again remind the Ummah of SA that the Pakistani imported orator is a danger to our community. He has a ‘sweet-tongue’ with which he very cunningly sows the seeds of uniting the incorrect groups as an Ummah, under one banner.
He specifically mentions, “Wear your label ‘Sunni’ on the inside, but make your outer garment a label of one Ummah. Shi’a label inside, outside one Ummah. Let Deobandis remain as Deobandis! Let Barelwis remain as Barelwis! Let Sunnis remain as Sunnis! Let Shi’as remain as Shi’as! And live with love, that is better than striking at each other’s necks. Labelling each other with Kufr Kufr Kufr.
Some of his incorrect messages during his speeches have come to us. We will, insha Allah if time permits, respond to his baseless and dangerous claims in an attempt to unite the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah with the Shi’ahs.
A final reminder, this orator imported from Pakistan has been branded as ‘UNRELIABLE’ by over a dozen Pakistani Ulama. How then can one listen to his talks in the name of Deen comfortably, not knowing as to what is authentic and what has been pulled out from his back pocket, or sucked from his thumb?!? (We have the list by us and did publish it few days ago. Should you require it, do write for a copy.)
“Speak the Haq even if it be bitter.” (Hadith)
