“The local masjid has a suggestion box, and I wrote to the Imams and Mutawalees regarding my concern, and why are they not addressing this issue. Nothing was done about the issue, not even signs placed to kindly switch off cellphones.
Every now and again a mobile phone would ring with a musical tune, many times during Salaah. Some musallees access Whatsapp in the Masjid. Some even messaging via WhatsApp.
Once, during the Friday lecture, and in the front row, the musallee next to me was busy messaging via WhatsApp. We know what inappropriate profile photos appear on WhatsApp profiles. Some youngsters at the back of the Masjid even watch videos. Once, a Mussalee, prior to reading Quran Shareef, was accessing his WhatsApp messages, and accidentally a video went on, playing music, and in the excitement, he could not switch off immediately.
Jamaat brothers are also guilty of accessing WhatsApp, and have their smartphones ready to make calls during gatherings in the Masjid. Many Musallees recite Quran and other wazifas from their smartphones, rather than read from the hard copies in the Masjid.
In the previous locality where I lived, I approached an Aalim about this issue, as in that Masjid the same things were occuring. He told me that as the WhatsApp photos are disappearing pixels, and not a fixed photo, it is permissible.
The above trends are growing in most Masaajid, and the Imaams and Mutawalees are not addressing the issue. In fact one of the Mutawalees in our Masjid too, is forever accessing or messaging with his phone. Very few Masaajid have clear signs when entering, to kindly switch off cellphones.
Kindly elaborate and offer naseehat on this evil practice in the Masaajid.

COMMENT
The infiltration and pervasion of the satanic smartphone device in the Musaajid whereby the sanctity of the Musaajid is satanically defiled is also among the Signs of Qiyaamah. Trustees, Imaams, and even the Ulama are not only oblivious of the major sins of defilement of the holiness of the Musjid, they even actively condone the satanism. Thus the ‘aalim’ claimed permissibility of defiling the Musaajid with the satanic devices on the basis of the ‘pixel’ fiction which Iblees has urinated into his fossilized brains. The ‘disappearing pixel’ argument proffered by the jaahil illustrates his jahl murakkab (compound ignorance).
Should we momentarily and stupidly presume the validity of the stupid satanic pixel hogwash ‘daleel’, then too, the disturbances created by these devices in the Musaajid are haraam.
Since Musjid trustees themselves are generally fussaaq and fujaar they cannot be expected to institute measures to prevent the defilement of the Musaajid. Imaams are generally paid mercenaries, hence they dare not open their mouths to even offer valid deeni naseehat to the miscreant trustees.
Furthermore, these imaams have abandoned the Waajib obligation of Amr Bil Ma’roof Nahyi Anil Munkar, hence they do not consider their condonation of Musjid defilement to be sinful.
All over, the Musaajid are being defiled with a variety of haraam activities which are all condoned and even enacted and supported by trustees and miscreant molvis belonging to the ulama-e-soo’ clique of thugs. It is the Waajib obligation of the Imaams to vigorously institute measures for preventing the desecration of the sanctity of the Musaajid.
Hadhrat Nabi Isaa (Alayhis salaam) once knotted his shawl into a kind of a whip and forcefully struck and expelled from the Musjid persons who were engaging in conversation. The Musjid is not the venue for exchanging niceties and for shaking hands. Molvis and tablighis are particularly guilty of such infractions which defile the holiness of the Musaajid. Without even a vestige of compunction do molvis and tablighis indulge in conversation inside the Musjid. The induracy of their brains does not permit naseehat to exercise any beneficial effect. They simply and miserably fail to understand the major sins they are committing with their merrymaking talk inside the Musaajid. The villainy is compounded and immensely aggravated with the shaitaani smartphone device.
It is not permissible to make Tilaawat of the Qur’aan Majeed from a shaitaani device which is used for even pornography. The Sunnah method is to engage in Tilaawat directly from a Mushaf. But it is observed that this Waajib Sunnah is increasingly being abandoned and substituted with the device of Iblees. There cannot be reward for using a satanic device for Tilaawat which should be incumbently in the manner of the Sunnah. Reciting from the shaitaani device is bereft of khushu’.
Shaitaan is a cunning teacher of evil. By degrees does he unfold his snare to desensitize the Imaan of people. He takes them gradually step by step until he finally seizes them firmly in his tentacles. Then all spiritual faculties are rendered ineffective and one comes within the purview of the Qur’aanic Aayat:
“The (physical) eyes are not blind. But the hearts within the breasts are blind.”
Then one becomes impervious to Naseehat. But the blindness will be cured at the time of Maut when it will be too late for remorse and reformation.
