Part 3
JUSA’s SG’s Audio Clip – ‘Being Innovative’
Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “The most evil matters in Deen are those that are newly invented…” (Nasaai)
As mentioned in part 2, the secretary general (SG) of JUSA made the following statement:
“It teaches us from Seerah that if you get something new, and it is beneficial, you adopt it. You don’t go and say this is not the way of our Akaabireen not the way that we did things. If it is something that is beneficial, you go and take it.”
Comment: While we already commented in part 2 on the above statement, Alhamdulillah, we intend to comment further regarding the same statement of JUSA’s SG from another angle.
Since JUSA’s SG clearly states that anything that is ‘something new’, or ‘beneficial’, one should ‘adopt it’ and not put the word ‘Akaabireen’ anywhere in the picture, we would like to ask the same secretary general of JUSA as well as ALL their counterparts who appear under the banner of ‘UUCSA’ the following pertinent question:
Since you appear to be deducing Fataawaa from the Seerah, very well and good as this makes things easier for simpletons to understand and comprehend things compared to the subject of Fiqh. In light of the Seerah of our beloved Rasool (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam), kindly show us the scenario where a plague struck the Muslims (Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wasallam and his Sahaabah Radhiyallahu anhum) due to which Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) called for any of the following:
- ALL Masaajid to be suspended with immediate effect.
- ALL Musallis to stand 1.5m apart due to the stupid ‘contagion’ atheist-belief.
- ALL elderly Sahaabah are BANNED from entry into any Masjid.
- ALL Sahaabah should intoxicate their hands by using Haraam alcoholic satanizers.
- ALL Sahaabah should suffocate themselves with a lung-damaging mask.
- ALL social distancing Musallis should stand on the right-half of the Masjid from behind the Imaam and those who wish to stand shoulder-to-shoulder should stand on the left-side of the Masjid from behind the Imaam. This is a silly formation and transformation of the Masaajid into weird ‘innovated’ Mosques (NOT Masaajid because the word ‘Masjid’ doesn’t fit to such places!) in certain towns in SA where JUSA-scholars reside.
The above unfound facts in the Seerah show us that the ‘Fatwa’ and claim of JUSA’s SG is flawed and rejected with the contempt it deserves.
