QUESTION: Earlier this week, a picture of a flavored ‘beef and pork ground’ meat package was taken, clearly showing MJC Halaal logo on it.
Please comment on this saga.
OUR COMMENT: Previously, many a times, we had commented on this saga.
The apology of “labeling error” will no more make the hyenas in Kruger National Park laugh anymore. Rather, it will make them cry!
The fact that they – be it MJC, SANHA, NIHT or any such Haraam certifying business – can’t have control over a non edible label of theirs, then how can we trust the edible MEAT they certify to be meeting the standards of the Shari’ah 100%?
In this case of MJC’s logo appearing on Haraam pork flavored products, the previously common saying on the lips of some really makes itself to mean real, when they used to say that MJC stands for M – Must, J – Just, C – Chow (Must Just Chow)! Accoridng to their Haraam Halaal labels, one can even consume PORK.
May Allah Ta’ala guide and keep us and the Halaal certifying businesses to the Straight Path, Aameen.
