QUESTION: Please comment on the recent trip to Zambia of scholars from JUSA, etc. Are such conferences or gatherings good to attend which are called SAUF meetings or conferences or something named in these lines?
ANSWER: Fitnah, liberalism, modernism and deviation are among the salient outcome of these SAUF gatherings.
The point that no Aalim belonging to the senior Ulama-e-Haq of SA really attends or supports such gatherings from where high chances of liberalism to emanate, is sufficient to keep oneself away and not to bother of any of the discussions at such gatherings.
Rather, adopt and stay close in the company of the Ulama-e-Haq. They are the ones who speak the bitter Haq. They discourage HARAAM interfaith with solid Shar’i Dalaa’il and not rest on isolated Fataawa issued for specific regions, times, etc., or whatever the background details of the specific Fataawa may be.
The Ulama-e-Haq don’t appear on TV, they don’t reduce themselves to be pop stars and apply powder on their faces to appear appealing on Dajjaal’s studio, TV Haraam Boxes!
The above and many, many other Haraam activities are promoted and openly done by JUSA’s secretary and other similar minded modern scholars of SA. Hence, the outcome of SAUF gatherings wherein these modern type SA scholars gather and meet other scholars, are more the watering down of the Shariat and not upholding Shariat. This is because after such SAUF conferences, we get some of the points made there which are nothing but Haraam, modernism, liberalism, deviation and watering down of the Shariat.
