We hereby remind the Muslims NOT to attend the Sultan Bahu Fete, Rand Show, Pre-Ramadhaan Souks and Markets and Eid-Shopping Festivals.
Rather, spend your long-weekend in preparation for Ramadhaan by taking advantage of the few days left of Sha’baan.
The night of 20 April 2019 (Saturday night) is an auspicious night. Spend time in Ibaadat, Du’a, Istighfaar, Thikrullah, Tilaawat and Nafl Salaah in some part of this night. Do not ruin this chance by squandering one’s valuable time strutting around at the Sultan Bahu Fete etc.
A sincere Muslim will actually NOT even have time to go to such Fetes and Shows in which many sins take place. A sincere and intelligent Muslim will rather place his head down in Sajdah during these few days which are left of Sha’baan. He / she will beg Allah Ta’ala to spare him / her for the Honourable Month of Ramadhaan.
May Allah Ta’ala guide the Ummah and give the Ummah an abhorrence for evil and sinful venues and events, even if they may appear in some ‘Islamic’ slogan, name or flavour such as the Sultan Bahu Fete, Pre-Ramadhaan Souks and Markets and Eid-Shopping Festival, Aameen.
