A brother, highlighting the ROT of our community, writes:
“Is our community gone so insane? This sport (the padel satanism) has taken a complete hold over the ummat. How many homes are breaking because of this.
Recently I spent a night at a family member’s home. They live in an almost 100% Muslim community. A community of Ulema, madressas, masaajid etc.
Anyway we drove in at 1 o’clock in the morning and when we passed the padel courts I saw that it was fully lit and games were in full swing. All at 1am! It was the first time I saw this. And then I thought to myself, how many of these men have left their young wives to pass the nights in loneliness. How many of them have young children etc. whom they do not hesitate to leave in the darkness and evil of the nights….
That young wife is frustrated and alone…those children take advantage of the frequent absence of their father. Arguments, problems and then broken homes and torn families are the result. These children then grow up in unstable environments and broken homes, leaving them confused and lost.
Men who can’t get out of bed to find a stable job, suddenly manage to produce hundreds and thousands of rands which are blown on these games. And the last straw is when they come with ‘Padel for Palestine’ .
I remember attending a pop-up in the this very Muslim community which I mentioned. Allah forgive me for attending!! The environment at this event was disgraceful! On one side the padel games are in full swing. Then they have all the stalls where young girls in tight jeans and t-shirts are serving with young boys.
Then they have games for children which are been handled by apas in niqaab and abayas. Games with music playing over microphone!
And who was attending this event?! 99.9 percent were Muslims. Ladies with niqaab, ulema and men with beards and kurtas!
We justify it saying it’s for Palestine! As if money from such environments of fitna are going to bring help to our brothers in Palestine! As if rahmat of Allah will come down after such immoral villainy!
Honestly a country like South Africa where every avenue of Deen is flourishing Alhamdulillah, be it Tabligh, Khanqa or Madaaris — a country where 100’s of ulema graduate annually! And these are the thing that are happening!!
May Allah forgive us all, grant us the understanding and protect us from all evil!” (End of the Brother’s lament)
