“Soon shall there be an age when the worst of the people under the canopy of the sky will be their Ulama. From them will emerge Fitnah, and the Fitnah will rebound on them.” (Mishkaat)
Sadly, today, Ulama who are supposed to protect the Sunnah and the Deen are involved in many activities which in reality demolishes the Deen. Perhaps not now, but in the future their bitter rotten ‘fruits’ might be tasted. May Allah Ta’ala save the future generations from the evil seeds of thorny and bitter fruits sowed by such Ulama who are in fact modern Ulama, Aameen.
Soon, a Bid’ah is to be held in Lenasia as well as in Natal, dubbed as a ‘Seerah Jalsah’. By now, sincere Muslims who are interested in the Haq and the safety of their Imaan will be rest assured of such events to be in conflict with the Shari’ah, Sunnah, practise of the Sahaabah as well as the Akaabireen. There is no need for an explanation to such sincere Muslims. However, a reminder is beneficial. And in writing on this and other similar anti-Shari’ah evils done by modern Ulama, one will be fulfilling the imperative obligation of Nahi anil Munkar (forbidding evil) which is a forgotten task of the Ummah.
The Seerah Jalsah is in actual fact a Bid’ah Moulood ceremony camouflaged in the name of ‘Seerah’. Since the Bidatis utilize the words Moulood / Mowlid / Meelad etc. for their Bid’ah functions of Naats, Nazams, feasting and merrymaking, Ulama of Jamiats which are inclined to modernism are organizing a similar function, but in the name of Seerah.
According to the poster of the Seerah Jalsah, there will be Naats, Nazams and Qiraat, and worst of all, women are also invited! What is the difference between this function and the Mawlid of the Bidatis, besides the change of the name?
Hence, Bid’ah which is camouflaged in a disguised name is perpetrated by modern Ulama. Be that as it may, since the work of modern Ulama is to modernize Deen, it is important for the masses to know that they should not attend such functions.
