When A Shi’a Dies…

When A Shi’a Dies…

Weekly, from the Manaabir (pulpits) throughout the world, the Imaams echo the words of our beloved Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) which are as follows:

Fear Allah! Fear Allah, regarding my Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum)!”

“He who loves them (my Sahaabah), loves them because he loves me.”

“He who hates them, hates them because he hates me.”

Clearing The Fog Regarding The Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu Anhum) & The Kuffaar Shi’as:

  1. Any person who abuses, swears, insults, curses and/or dislikes ANY Sahaabi (Radhiyallahu anhu), is a KAAFIR and he/she is accursed (Mal’oon).
  2. The Shi’as are known for the above, hence they are Kuffaar and NOT Muslim, even if they may parade with Muslim names.
  3. Loving every Sahaabi (Radhiyallahu anhu) is a natural demand of Imaan of every believer.
  4. It is never becoming of any Muslim to abuse any Sahaabi (Radhiyallahu anhu) in any way whatsoever.
  5. Loving the Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum) is a sign of loving Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
  6. The Qur’an Majeed and Ahaadith Mubaarakah have preserved Love, Respect and a Certificate of Jannah for the Ashaab of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in various Aayaat.
  7. Based on the above, disrespecting any Sahaabi is tantamount to disrespecting the Qur’an Majeed and Hadith Shareef. And this leads to disrespecting Allah Ta’ala and His Rasool (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam), which results in KUFR.
  8. Many Ahaadith speak in great favour of the Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum).
  9. Many Hadith Kitaabs – especially the Sihaah-Sittah taught in the final year in the Darul-Ulooms – have special chapters (Abwaab) on the Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum).
  10. All the Taabi’een, Tab’ut-Taabi’een, Fuqahaa, Ulama, Muftiyaan, etc. along the annals of history, loved, respected and showed awe to EVERY Sahaabi (Radhiyallahu anhu).

Thus, when a Kaafir Shi’a dies, be he/she a king, president, affluent person, person of ‘honour’, generous person, etc., it is Haraam for any member of the Ahlus-Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah to say ‘Innalillah…’, or mourn his/her death, or send condolences, or partake in the so-called ‘Janaazah Salaah’, and burial of the Kaafir Shi’ah!

At the end of the day, the death of a Shi’a is on par to the death of any Kaafir. All the rules applicable for when a Kaafir dies, applies for when a Shi’a dies.

Many of the Great Ulama-e-Haq have issued stern Fataawa of Kufr regarding the Kuffaar Shi’as who take relish in swearing the Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum). Their Fataawa are well- preserved and available till today.

The above clear points penned are extremely necessary due to the current situation in South Africa, where scholars who have become the ‘Ulama-e-Government’, have opted for total dead silence regarding exposing the Kufr of the Shi’as in recent years.

Also, those (scholars, Ulama-e-Government, TV-scholars, VIVA-scholars, interfaith-scholars) who claim to represent the Muslims of this country, have failed in answering questions posed to them regarding the death of Shi’as and how should the Ahlus-Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah respond. Imagine! Claiming to represent every Muslim of SA, yet they hopelessly fail to answer in simple words the question/s posed by individuals! How then can they ever represent the Ummah collectively!?

If you still feel what we have written is false, try it out yourselves! E-mail the Ifta department of JUSA/UUCSA, or call-in on their Radio Izlam and ask if a Shi’a dies, is it Jaiz to recite Innalillah… and to send condolences? Thereafter sit back and watch how they react.

You can also try calling in at the Ifta dept. of JUSA, MJC, UUCSA, etc. and pose this same question to their ‘Muftis’.

Remember, this question needs NO ‘refer back to’, or ‘need to see and research the Kutub’ type of feedback. For immediate reply, the answer should be ‘Shi’as or anyone hurling any abuse to the Sahaabah (Radhiyallahu anhum) are Kuffaar’. Yes, to research more on THIS POINT, the Mufti can refer back with several Fataawa backing his Fatwa issued by the Ulama of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah.

May Allah Ta’ala remove the cobwebs from our brains and vision in order to think and see correctly, instead of siding with the Sahaabah-haters, viz. the Kuffaar Shi’as, Aameen.
