“The heart of the one who consumes doubtful food for forty days, darkens. This is the meaning of Allah’s statement (in the Qur’aan): “In fact, there forms a corrosion on their hearts because of what they earn.” Hadhrat Ibn Mubaarak (Rahmatullah alayh) said: “Rejecting one doubtful Dirham (silver coin) is more beloved to me than giving six hundred thousands Dirhams as Sadaqah.”(Imaam Ghazaali)
