Hidden Poison Dished Out At The Seerah Jalsah (Part 1)

THE VEILED AND HIDDEN POISON DISHED OUT AT A ‘SEERAH JALSAH’ PART 1

On the 28th of January 2023, a ‘Seerah Jalsah’ was held in Johannesburg.

At the occasion, meant to imbibe into the masses, the importance of the Sunnah and its practice.

In stark contrast to its said ‘noble objective’ a speaker, ‘Molvi’ Ebrahim Bham, very tactfully inserted a few sentences to promote Baatil ideologies.

He is trying to justify the interfaith prayers and Accords by using certain incidents of history. He also veiled in it the promotion of allowing non-Muslims into the Masjid, effectively turning them into museums.

He also takes a swipe at the Ulama of Haqq who state one should not dwell into vain talk and states that they ‘sit in ivory towers’

Take heed of the following Hadith Sharîf:

Hadith

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ، فَخَطَبَا، فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ لِبَيَانِهِمَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرًا ـ أَوْ ـ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الْبَيَانِ لَسِحْرٌ ‏”‏‏.‏

Hazrat `Abdullah bin `Umar رضي الله عنه narrated:

Two men came from the East and addressed the people who were amazed at their eloquent speeches. On that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)  said. Some eloquent speech has an effect like (black) magic.’

Sahih al-Bukhari, 5767

Be very wary of eloquent flowery speeches filled with hints towards Baatil.
